That is a great piece of art Sandra, you have given real depth to it and the colours are great, I have painted on slate I think it is a great material in fact my house number is slate, I did a mountain scene using the contours on the slate, I really think your piece has great sence of feeling and a touch of mystery as the trees disappear into the darkness, nice one.

"Depth" was the word that struck me, and both Malcolm and John have used it - it has indeed got great depth, the lighter tree trunk or shaft of light in the background being very important in contributing to it.
