So how did you do that scene from down here when you're up there????? LOL. Nice piece catching the desolate nature and I am feeling the breez now.

haha, well.. I've scrambled on top of Noe Stool a few times. I've got a photo from this particular walk, and used a little create license to fill in the rest :)

This is a watercolour sketch from last year. It's myself on top of the rocky outcrop on Kinder Scout called Noe Stool. I've been up Grindsbrook, over Kinder Scout, and down Jacob's Ladder many times, and I always love its hard landscape. It's pitilessly cold in winter, with the snow all about. You occasionally see the white hares with their winter fur. Take a woolly hat if you go up there becasue the wind whips up over the top relentlessly. Then be sure to stop for a pint in the Nags Head!
