Acrylic, pen & ink on MDF (Masonite) panel. H18†x W32†(H45.7 x 81cm). As the title suggests, this was about seven o'clock in the morning in the lakeland of Kerala. Much of the lakes are in fact flooded rice paddies. Here, workers and their oxen begin a long working day - whilst I sailed off in my houseboat!
