Lovely Ruthy...in our magpie season we have to keep our heads covered they dive bomb us if we walk in their territory.

How lovely! I have just had a nest in my porch in which a blackbird raised five youngsters - all looking very much like these ones (although yours are magpies). Really nicely observed with energy and vitality. Great stuff.
