I love street scenes, Ruth, so this is right up mine. Very nostalgic. Nice palette.

I liked all the different shops specialising in in their own products, and the smell, especially tobacconist and sweetie shops! You’ve painted a wonderful nostalgic scene here Ruth.

Such a super painting Ruth. The shops have certainly changed so much. In our WI meeting last week, our speaker showed us slides of our town from bygone days, it has been altered so much over the years but we all remembered little shops from our youth (a long time ago!).
