My first ever attempt at watercolour .

Well done for your first watercolour. It is not an easy medium but I must admit to preferring this overall. I have tried my first acrylic, which you can view on my gallery, but find acrylics dry too quickly.

Thanks linda . The painting looks much better in real life my camera is a bit old i think and never gives a good photo. I will check out your acrylic painting linda .

Russ a good watercolour, the blending and colours in the grapes are really attractive.

It will be the same effect as Marmite Russ, you'll either love it or hate it...maybe even both ! It's a terrific start, there are some lovely blended washes on the grapes.

An excellent first attempt Russ, it's not the easiest medium but it's the one I prefer. It's good to challenge yourself now and again.

Just carry on. Watercolour is lovely and this is good so far. Look forward to more.
