Excellent artwork Rupert.

This is really good Rupert

Wonderful waves Rupert ... I find painting seas SO difficult.

Thank you Neil, Stephen & Heather.

As you will certainly know, painting the sea is really very difficult - people tend to go for exaggerated effects: that Bob Ross wave is a recurring feature, completely unconvincing, but one sees it again and again. Not here, happily! Your painting is quite a lesson in painting the sea - I find it difficult to do, even though, or perhaps because, I've lived very near the sea for most of my life. I'd recommend those who look to master sea-painting that they ignore the egregious Bob, and instead take a look at the work of Mural Joe on YouTube: or - study your painting.

Thank you Robert for such positive feedback 😊

Love the way you’ve painted the sea Rupert
