Just looked through all the posts this weekend and this is the only one that really jumped out at me. Although you can't take credit for the composition you can take credit for the way you painted it. All credit to you for admitting it's not your idea. A lot of people would have tried to pass it off as their own. As long as it's not for sale (which it isn't) this is a great way to learn.

Hi I immediately thought "this has been posted before" then I saw your disclaimer. I remember this painting but dont know who paintied it originally , although I think it was featured either in LP or the Artist. Nonetheless your rendering is very fresh and very well done. Congratulations. PS Why dont you get out there and take your own photo and paint it up. You can then sell you work for lots of money and no qualms. Good luck.
