‘ Measurement 1 & 2’. 2 pieces in paper collaged onto canvas painted in Oil Paint. ‘’ My work is about routines, time and memory and how the significant episodes in daily life are hung on the frames of routines and rituals we construct. For this exhibition, I’m trying to capture the way a good walk by this coast line helps to process complicated lives in the measured way we put things into perspective when looking out to the horizon. The line is constantly there however it appears to change in clarity, colour and tone. The vast scale of the view provides insights into what is and isn’t significant. The quality of the horizon line may indicate vison beyond what can be seen. Viewers are invited to create an edge that represents how they feel today in this place where the horizon can clearly be seen. ‘’
