Watercolour 14" x 11". The Cross in the centre of the village of lymm which dates back to the 14th century is it's most recognizable hallmark and is based on ancient steps carved out of natural red stone and worn with age. Ancient public meetings were held here and also where the stocks were placed as a means of primitive justice.
