Bright fun and well done!!Linda

I know this place . Last time I was there .One of the players was a woman with a very tied back plait , and she was smoking a pipe. You have portrayed the atmosphere very well.

Acrylic on canvas 16" X 12" This is the game of petanque and it's not just a load of boules but loved by millions of Frenchman and played on dusty bone dry pitches. Painted from sketches made in the medieval hill top village of St. Paul de Vence.
