Good perspective here, and you have conveyed the sense of hustle and bustle. I lived near Birmingham some 30 years ago and recognize that church, but I think the Bull Ring has been redeveloped and changed beyond recognition. Thank-you for bringing back some memories!

Yes I know exactly where you are here, I have often had a sandwich in ~EAT which is opposite Cafe Rouge; The reflections in the building I always think would make an interesting subject, and I like your busy jolly rendition. It captures the busy scene.

I sat in this busy square sketching this scene - ancient and modern juxtaposed in a dazzling array of architecture; inspiration flowing, knowing that inside this church visitors can see stain glass windows by the Pre - Raphaelite artist Sir Edward Burne Jones. Oil pastels on canvas 16 x 12.
