This is based on sketches i made whilst waiting for a ferry during a storm on Lake Maggiore. As you can see a little fantasy has crept in - we all do it - so i am not going to feel guilty. Isola bella, it's palace and terraced gardens can be seen in the middle of the lake - well worth a visit. The horse sculptor is in the town of stresa across the lake. 20" x 30" oils on canvas.

Previously owned an art gallery on the high street selling my work. They are in private and public collections. I have been an illustrator for Wentwoth wooden jigsaw puzzles where I was a best seller. My paintings have been published on textiles and my designs in books and posters.
