Hard luck Roger! Years ago our frame tent was blown off a cliff - luckily we weren't in it! Our little touring caravan is still in a barn on a nearby farm and won't be coming out yet! Now, down to the painting... Is it part of a larger painting or does it stand alone?

Marjorie..hello 'fellow' caravaner! This fragment is part of last sunday's complete painting. Do you ever look at your work and find a section that works particularly well and sums up what you have done without seeing the whole image? Incidentally, I wandered into your portfolio and saw a superb still life of perhaps, olives and bowl...2009, predominantly blue monochrome...sorry, bit vague but you will know the one.

I shouldn't be here...until last night we were quite happily caravanning in Devon, dogs settled, and would have remained so if it hadn't been for the overnight gales, reducing our awning into a pile of twisted metal and ripped sheeting and damaging the side of said caravan...what a bugger! So instead this load up is a detail from last sunday's image, although, in truth, I'd rather be in Devon...better viewed large and why blurred I know not
