16" x 20" oil on canvas from a plein air pastel of Bamburgh Beach. This is almost finished; I posted the underpainting last week. I rarely include figures in my landscapes but I felt that this painting needed something. Today was the day to try to imitate Dennis Roberts' dog-walker who is a very effective focal point in so many of Dennis' landscapes. The flash has made my dog-walker almost invisible but thanks, Dennis.
