12" x 16" oil on canvas. On a grey November afternoon, I have used a photograph taken in May as a reference. I used acrylics to paint a cool blue ground and to establish the main tonal areas. The painting is nearly finished but needs to dry now. I'm going to add a few fresh marks to where the stream crosses the beach and suggest a few birds to create movement.
