Did you find that as revolting a colour to work on as I suspect it was? Your art group appears to be peopled by Sadists..... I'm not sure I could even LOOK at purple/pink paper for more than 5 minutes without losing my breakfast...... Probably a good challenge, though ... after all, if you can paint on that, you should be able to paint on anything.
