Lovely cheeky chappie Roger, well painted

A charming little painting Roger - the feathering look very convincing. There is something so appealing about Robins. We have one nesting in a gap in the garden wall at present.

You have captured the character of the robin perfectly. I like the details in the legs, especially the feathers at the top, and the light in the eye.

I agree with the above comments, Roger. Very well "painted" bird and I love the texture of the grasses and ... he is standing up.

You got that spot on, Roger - and the little chap is actually looking, cheekily, at you - as ours alwys does; unafraid and in command! Masterly.

Excellent painting, Roger. I find bird's feet quite challenging and you have got these just right.
