Very Christmassy! Like all the detail of the holly and bow which really adds to the design. If this is No 2 - can we expect more to be posted? I have been out of the loop for a little while but I have been busy painting - two Christmas card designs so far - yet to be posted. Are you like me in that you get in the frame of mind to do them and then can't seem to get out of it!

It's that time of year and we are constantly reminded of it so here is my first Christmas card effort for this year. Painted in watercolour on Bockingford paper and measuring 8" x 5" The red bow is a real one saved from last year; the deckle edge to the card is done by gently beating the three edges with a sharp-edged ruler. Detail around the holly sprig is in silver but only reproduces as grey. Lettering is from the computer and carefully filled with a watercolour pencil.
