You are right about the watersoluble pens. I sometimes try to use sepia and after putting on the wash, it turns dark red instead of brown. I think buying bottles of watersoluble ink and mixing the colours yourself gives more satisfaction. The only problem then: you have to use a dip pen!!! and most of them are not lightfast. Anyway, I like this image very, very much, simple (!!!) and beautifully executed.

Stabilo point 88 water-soluble pens used in this effort on A4 cartridge paper. I feel that the colours are a little garish from this set of 10, and would look better if toned down.
