I am glad i clicked on the close up of this.. The detail is great. I like the way you have created the shine on the feathers and the bit around the beak... I am afraid I dont know the correct term.. it reminds me of embroidery. Lovely

I agree with Angela it does look very like an embroidery must have taken a long time to draw but worth it.

A lovely piece of decorative art...very similar to the embroidery you see on Chinese ceremonial robes.

I came across this picture in my collection which was a spin off from the other painting submitted on 15th August. It was done on black paper using metallic gel pens. Size 16" x 12". Some of the detail has been lost in a few places in the photo stage.
