Hawker Hurricane

Lovely piece. The painting highlights the plane's solitary flight against the vast expanse of the sky. I can almost hear the humming of the machine!

I particularly admire the way you've tackled the propellor - you've resisted the clichéd way of painting it, which relies heavily on over-carefully shaped chevrons of white, which never look real to me. A very evocative painting for anyone of my generation and older, and not any kind of boring technical illustration with all the rivets showing, but accurate and telling nonetheless.
