Very beautiful! This really stands out.

Very good Roberta! I love the way you have left out part of the head, gorgeous colours and a lovely shiny eye.

Lovely watercolour.

Only just become aware of your comments - thank you all very much,

Agree with all of the above, might have been done quickly, but love this one. Isn't it funny how the brain fills in the gaps?

Hi Roberta, thank you for your kind words, will take a look at the picassa program as suggested. Fidel is painted in acrylics, I used a combination of brushes for the hair, mostly just a fine brush, but took a small fan brush and butchered it as well, leaving a scattering of individual hairs. Was even more difficult on Mercurius' painting...needed a deers foot as well as he has dreadlocks.

Lovely loose painting, captures him perfectly..

Hi Robetra, thank you so much for your comments on my gallery, I always use propelling pencils, 0.5 2h 2b 3b 4b plus a pastel smoother to bring it all together. I only do commissions now and then, mostly draw for pleasure.

Lovely, striking painting.

Hares really make good subjects for this type of painting. This one of yours is lovely - beautiful colours and well composed.

Well done on this becoming one of the selected paintings for August! well deserved.

no problem, glad I made your day! Go and celebrate... :-)

all the above,glorious.

Wish I could be that "Painterly " - impressive !

lovely

I love the lost and found characteristic of this painting

Apparently, this hare was painted quickly but it looks like it has been created by a highly professional painter ! It is a rather enigmatic animal and it is therefore full of charm ! Very well done !
