Hi Paul. Nice to see you re-post this painting. I have now lost your first one but this photograph is so much better, I am sure you will agree. The mid section of the sea is very nicely rendered. I think the boat could have been in a more contrasting colour rather than the same as the land. Also, because of the direction it is facing, the boat leads the viewers eyes OUT of the painting, instead of encouraging one to look round the picture. I do hope this helps, Paul. Regards.
