Great light.

I've found subtlety is much more difficult to paint than complexity.

A beautiful painting Richard 😀

Beautiful swans and painting, Richard - like the glow in the water.

Wonderful painting, Richard, and a great title. The light, reflections, reeds and hints of the surrounding trees to the right are top drawer. Absolutely beautiful Brian

Peace! Perfect peace, Richard. Love it! Last year we had swans brave enough to stay awhile in transit...had to be guarded 24/7, mind, by police!!!

This is so beautiful Richard. Love the technique and colours.

Thank you, Dorothy. My wife always complains that my paintings don't have enough colour. Ha, ha.

Wow, this is gorgeous Richard, beautiful reflections.

Beautiful work Richard ;0) cheers, Paul

Lovely light on the water, and beautiful swans. What a pity they are so vicious.

I think maybe most large birds can be aggressive. What is funny, most Mute Swans are painted with their wings up because they look more graceful and elegant, but in reality, it is a threatening gesture.
