Brian, that's a rock. The photo made the rock darker than what the painting looked like. Maybe sometime, I'll go into Photoshop and make it look more like a rock. This is an old painting - sold it back in 1990.

Fixed the rock. Now it's not so confusing. I've had other people make the same comment in the past when I used to show a portfolio of photo prints.

What a lovely scene! Love the fact that the deers are small and 'far away'.
