It's done if you've said what you wanted to say - always hard to know when a painting is finished ... for me, it's usually when I've no idea what more I could add (or remove); to some extent no painting is ever done; there are always parts we could have done differently; but rather than plough on and on with it, a better idea is to start a new picture.

So effective and great textures.
