You have certainly created snowy mountains Richard, more than that, you’ve created COLD snowy mountains. Excellent.

Cheers Fiona. All the best for 2021.

That gate is an invitation to adventure on one of the finest fells in the Lake District. Mind you those icy ridges demand respect and the right gear. I like the use of blues in the shaded areas.

Thank you Frank. Indeed, have done Sharp Edge, I think twice, but not when it has been icy, slippy conditions !

Sharp Edge, yes. Exhilarating Richard. Hall’s Fell is good too but lacks that hairy moment at the end.but I’ll not be going back at my age!

At my age I would still do say Scafell etc, etc, it would just take me all day now to get there and back from Borrowdale !!!! Allowing for age Gable or Haystacks from Honister Mine has occurred to me but not sure about Mrs C !!!

A4 Sketchpad Pen and Coloured Pencil Like most of my Lakes "postings" this is a simplified Blencathra image of a photograph of mine. The hard part was breaking down the main "mountain outlines" , and endeavouring to make a snowy coloured drawing.
