A good sketch, Richard. I find these full-on poses difficult, preferring a three quarter view, but you've had no problem.

A change of direction Richard. Not an easy choice. Is it a dairy shorthorn or the rare white park? I’m no expert, all I can say is that I wouldn’t like to get up close for a plein air sketch!

A4 Cartridge Paper. Image from a combination of tutorial Copyright Free and Free Download. Being naturally curious I wish the breed on a lot of these images was identified. It would help when we are on our hikes and walks to be able to identify not that I get too close to these sometimes feisty animals !!!! Must try another sketch of Cows & Bulls. They seem to me a lot harder to get correct than sheep !!
