Brockham Green and Pump

This is quite good but why not do it again in a surrealist style, The pump house is just begging to painted with a Salvador Dali wavy shape.

Very well executed. Good drawing and nice fresh colours. I'm not so keen on the composition. The main interest is too central and probably too dominant.

I appreciate the comment but please remember that many religious paintings were/are based on the cross being central in the composition. Since the pump is dominated by a cross, perhaps in honouring the Lord, I thought it appropriate to have it central. Other elements are on the golden mean. Perhaps it does not work for some, but there is reason there.

Now this is excellent, i really like this, very eye-catching, bright and colourful (i dont do facebook) so hopefully you may add more here, :-)
