Evening Sparkle (the finished painting)

This is wonderful! Love all the Sparkle!

There was a time, which you might remember, when you couldn't hope to get a result like this in acrylics - the colours just weren't available 50 years ago (when I started using them, I'm not accusing you of being my age) and if they were, they made painting something akin to struggling with coloured toothpaste. The progress to a full palette of new and vibrant colours was rapid, though - and you've taken full advantage of the technical advances in this one.

Thank you Robert, first tried acrylics in rhe eighties at art school and they were awful. Just started using them again in the last four years and yes things have improved. Pastels are my first choice of medium but acrylics are fun and forgiving and different as everyone does oils and watercolours!
