Work in the Olden Days

It gives a very realistic impression of distance, with lovely use of light and dark. I like it very much.

Lovely painting. The perspective is excellent.

This is enchanting. Gorgeous colours on the path and the line of washing. The misty hilllside is beautifully done, and the little figure coming into the picture from the left invites curiosity. Where is the location?
