Nice bright, crisp colours used. I don't think that you have to add anything else here as the flowers and the tree takes my eye.

thanks Sarah :-) that's reassuring to know :-) this is why i am working on castles at the moment though because i think i could include them in the middle ground where i have had trouble of thinking of what to put in it :-) i was of course tempted to add a person walking the dog................ :-p

I painted this, this morning in about 10/15 minutes but it took longer to dry, because brusho watercolours are like inks, they are intense colours but very wet. Sadly i can see splatter marks on the mountain/hills, where i did the tree foliage, but i hope i may have achieved a good painting? it is brighter because i use kitchen paper to dab off excess paint everywhere, as my paintings are getting too dark i think :-) I used canson A6 300gsm watercolour paper (Montval) i am finding it hard to create anything in the middle ground......... i always create the sky first because i love sky :-) then i add the ground which i do green :-) then i get stuck :-p so i add a tree or a person walking the dog :-) anyway, hope i have achieved something positive here :-)
