This is not to scale obviously :-p but it is on A4 clairefontaine drawing paper that is about 180gsm and good for watercolours. The paper did get a bit grubby though, but hopefully you can tell it is a peacock butterfly :-) drying out it's wings after hatching. I used lyra aquacrayons. Which was a mixture of their red, dark brown, black, white, and light and dark green.
