I love the delicacey and translucence of the wings

I just had to delete my comment to you because i got confused and thought your comment was for the blue butterfly :-p oooops, anyway, hi :-) and thank you for commenting, and looking at my artwork, i appreciate it. i am really pleased you like this butterfly, it took longer to paint and i still feel the wings are bit shwot on the left side particularly :-)

There are so many lovely butterflies around this year that it is nice to see one immortalised like this. They apparently only live for three weeks - very sad. This one is such a beautiful colour - well observed.

i agree with keith, like your gallery . some of your butterfly's look so pleasing ,i would like to see one painted onto a large flower . thank you for your comments kind regards,.
