Your bird paintings are really delightful Rebecca, and this one in particular is lovely. I love the strong bright blue of his feathers, and the branch and leaves of the tree are soft and impressionistic.

Most certainly a Kingfisher and the best of your birds so far Rebecca. Beautiful bright feathers and I think what sets it apart from your other birds is the background. Lovely criss cross of twigs and leaves. Lovely!

Yes, I agree with Fiona. Your best one to date . I especially like how the Kingfisher looks as if he is going to eat the little fish in one gulp. Looking forward to your next painting :)
