An absolutely super piece, which captures the power and majesty of the boxer, as well as her gentleness.

I wondered at first whether the colour was just a little bit over the top; but more prolonged study convinced me otherwise. Seok is right: it's a super piece. Best dog we ever had was named Sally ... she liked other dogs, and would have got on well with your boxer. A life without dogs is no life at all....

Robert, Thanks for the comment. You are right about the colour. The digital photo, and viewing it on the computer screen does tend to make the colour look more vivid. The painting has been done as a posterisation using only three shades of brown, plus black and white. She is an old dog, 13 years, hence the white/grey muzzle. She use to have a completely black 'mask'. All the best, Ray

Give her a pat from me; our old Alsatian/Lab cross lived to be 19 ... but few get that far, unfortunately.
