I like this Sarah, is it a bit of a change of subject for you? You've taken on, what looks to me, a complicated subject and you've made a cracking job of it! Lovely washes on the house walls, looks like old rendering and the shrubery with the calligraphy brush strokes.....wonderful!!

Thank you very much for all your most generous comments. The actual day that I painted this was cold and misty , therefore no shadows either. I had to imagine a sunny day effect.
