I went to Jim Moir’s bird exhibition- I noticed his watercolour tree trunks used salt - so having never had the right salt I had a go …but then the finished lines begged to be developed .. so I went for it .. and then the son suggested surreal twigs … and eventually I stopped fiddling !!
