PAKHI DEKHOON PAKHI CHINOON NO. 683.. OBSERVE THE BIRD AND RECOGNIZE...YELLOW THROATED FULVETTA... COL. PENCIL AND GELPEN...A4... 2016..[ From Ref. photograph of Mr. SUVADIP CHOUDHURY]... The yellow-throated fulvetta (Alcippe cinerea) is a bird species of the Pellorneidae family. Its common name is misleading, because it is not a close relative of the "typical" fulvettas, which are now in the genus Fulvetta and are actually Sylviidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China,India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. 10–11 cm; 8–13 g. Very small green-and-yellow babbler with long black-bounded yellow supercilium. Crown is pale greyish-olive with strong blackish scaling. Song types include a repeated series of very thin high notes which start slowly . Food :Presumably invertebrates.
