The snowy-browed flycatcher (Ficedula hyperythra) is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. 1–13 cm; 6–10 g. Small, short-tailed, round-headed and small-billed flycatcher, male dark blue above and female olive-brown. Song quiet, high-pitched and wheezing series of descending “tsit-tsip-tsee-tswii” . Food not well studied; principally small invertebrates and larvae, including dipteran flies, spiders (Araneae), also small earthworms . Other common names: Rufous-breasted Blue Flycatcher, White-fronted Flycatcher, Red-breasted(!) Flycatcher
