Lovely painting, you can almost smell the blossoms and so many butterflies too.

Thank you very much, Margaret and Julia for your kind, comments. This looks a bit brighter in real life, with the red of the Red Admiral stronger. Since seeing it online I have added a bit more blue on the right hand side but shan't post it again.

Acrylic. In this beautiful sunshine the buddleia is covered in Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Cabbage White and Painted Lady butterflies as well as bees.
