OK so pastel is addictive and a recent article questioned talent or addiction, I am definitely of the addiction family. This pastel is exploring papers and this VELOUR was a challenge too far for someone starting out in pastel with impossible details. It is great for a softer creation. Needs more investigation.

Studied Calligraphy, fine art, and art and design in local Hertfordshire colleges and at the age of 35 went on study Design & Technology at Middlesex University whilst my children were at school. 20 years after my move to Oxfordshire I picked up my brushes once more.
