And your wonderful pastels John bring joy and satisfaction to the rest of us. Personally I just can't stomach the dust, but do so admire the wonderful pastel work I see on this Gallery.

Lovely work, John. So much to see, and such amazing detail. Love the palette too.

Great work again

Nicely done pastel master.

Lovely to view on this dull horrible windy day John, great pastel.

Beautiful pastel

Your colours are so lovely, the way you catch the light and darks makes everything stand out 😃

Thank you Sandra, Seok, Tim, Michael, Carole, Karen, Dennis, Linda, and Annack. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

Another masterclass in how to use pastel, fabulous work John.

John, this would make a lovely birthday card.

Thank you Russell and Ellen. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

This is lovely, John - what pastels do you use?

This impressionistic style lends itself so well to this John. Very apt title at the moment, with the "Bayeux" being in the news.

Thanks Jenny. I made my own from pigments mostly. I love soft pastel, hard pastels will not work like what you see here. That’s because I paint with them.

Thanks Marjorie. I have always loved, Impressionism. And as you know the impressionist worked mainly outside. It’s only my view. But I have always thought the impressionist were the pinicicle (and still are) of painting.

Such detailed work John your so good when you get this sort of work . Very good indeed

John this is breathtaking! What a sumptuous taperstry of colour and texture. You’re a magician with pastel.

Beautiful pastel John, some lovely detail in this.

Thank you Dennis, Fiona, and Margaret, your feedback is appreciated.

Beautiful pastel john, a lovely foreground and colours

A stunning tapestry John. Love the beautiful soft layers of colour. The master at work again.
