Beautiful colour and textures with the reflected light in your puddle captured perfectly.

John, had you been standing in the puddle? This somehow oily character of the water is well met, totally opposed by the dry wheat

No not standing in the puddle holger. I painted the puddle larger then it actually was. Artistic licence they call it. Lol.

Foreground grasses doing it for me,great textures and light. Great piece.

Nice range of colour and great use of the knife.

Beautiful texture and colour in this John - makes me think of Van Gogh!

Wonderful painting John, and skilled use of palette knife. Lovely colours too.

Yes the foreground sings then we view the rest which is very enjoyable.

Done with a magic palette knife I think! Really beautiful John.

Lovely use of the knife John especially for the texture in the foreground grasses.
