this is so adorable .. paints and you done a good job

I'm not very sentimental about people, even babies, but this is remarkable - right down to his Polar Bear top. The skin tones have worked perfectly, although I agree with you that they're more difficult to get right in acrylic than in oil. A great achievement.

How could I resist capturing this little boys smile in paint. After some indecision I decided that I should use acrylic rather than oil paint. It proved a little more of a challenge to obtain the soft skin tones with acrylics but I think the portrait turned out ok in the end.
