closed doors by Philip Johnson
I discovered this abandoned old bus in a gold town called Sandon in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The doors that once opened and closed hundreds of times each day back in the 1940's will probably now never open again. The rain was pouring over the rusting body of the bus. However I felt that it had so many stories to tell about the people who had passed through its doors. The dribbling rain only helped to emphasise the tired state of this old timer. (Watercolour on 300 gsm A3 cold press paper)
