I love cows - they have such character (although some chased me across the field a week or so ago and I was pretty scared I can tell you!). Love your portrait of this gentle lady - beautifully executed in such a soft and sympathetic way. She doesn't look like she would scare anyone!

A beautiful lady! One of my favourite breeds;sadly the number of breeds drops all the time here in France as "production" becomes the only criterion.
