Red shawl and jug

Petra this is simply beautiful. The red shawl and the glow it gives to the rest of the painting is lovely; there's something very calming about this still life.

You have totally cracked (sorry about the egg pun - not intended!) how to do these still life paintings as you can do reflections, shiny surfaces, show form and solidity to your shapes and put together a great arrangement absolutely brilliantly. Who could imagine that a simple white jug could be so beautiful!
