I've been meaning to do a painting of this old building in Hull since I took a photo of it a few weeks ago. A guy saw me taking the photo and started a conversation. He may have thought I was from the planning office and was preparing for demolition. I told him that I paint watercolours and I find the building really interesting. He went on to tell me of his love of steam engines!!
